If you experience a Green light on board but no writing appears. First step is to perform an Orientation Hold down both buttons on pen tray simultaneously.
With the dual monitor setup the orientation screen may appear on monitor first so hit both buttons on tray again to move orientation window to the smartboard then touch the points to calibrate.
1. If there is still no writing check smart inkclick the windows/start button
2. Find and Expand smart technologies folder
3. select smart ink settings
4. On the following window check the box for start SMART ink when you log on if its unchecked, then click the turn on SMART Ink button.
(If the button says "Turn off SMART ink" then Smart Ink is already on and this is not the issue)
5. BE SURE TO HIT APPLY THEN OK at the bottom of the window or this setting will not save
